#42 Tyler
Krobetzky
Coaches Comments -
"We had a roster spot open to us in December 2010 and we immediately began to
search for a player to fill the vacancy who could provide immediate
assistance. Our search led us to Tyler
and within weeks he had joined us for the spring semester and the rest, as they
say, is history. "Krobo" provided our
club with outstanding defense play at 1B and also came forward to provide
offensive production out of the cleanup spot that we were not expecting. Tyler's addition is one of the primary
reasons that SAU ended up as the 3rd best defensive team in the NAIA
and we expect the same for '12."
2011: MCC Gold Glove Award Winner at 1B. First hit and RBI as a Cougar came in his
first game on February 18 against Union College (KY). Tyler's First HR as Cougar came on March 31
against Goshen College (IN). Tyler led
all 1B in the NAIA with a Fielding% of 1.000% for the season.
