SILVIS, Ill. – Spring Arbor University's
Trevor Rupp earned medalist honors at the TPC Deere Run Invitational. Rupp fired a one-under par 70 in Saturday's final round to win by one stroke, holding off Dordt University's Ryan Feauto.
Rupp finished the 36-hole event with a 144 (74-70) to take home his third win of the season – and the fourth individual win of his career.
As a team, Spring Arbor finished seventh in the 16-team field. The Cougars shot rounds of 314 and 315 for a two-day total of 629.
Faulkner University captured first place with a 607, and was followed by Missouri Valley College at 609 while Indiana University Kokomo and Northwestern College (Iowa) finished tied for third at 619.
