PORTAGE, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's golf team turned in a strong performance on Monday, finishing second out of eight teams at the Kalamazoo College Steven Tyler Memorial Invitational.
The Cougars posted a team score of 310, finishing behind Trine University (296) and ahead of Cornerstone University (313).
Zach Koch led the way for Spring Arbor, capturing individual medalist honors with a 2-under par 70 to win the event by one stroke.
The victory marks Koch's second first-place finish in as many outings after tying for first at last week's Holy Cross Spring Invitational alongside teammate
Keldon Koshorek. It also represents his fourth tournament win of the season.
