SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University's Kayla Tafanelli and Carson Kohler have been named the Crossroads League Women's and Men's Bowlers of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
 
Tafanelli claimed the individual title at the WHAC Jackson Open with a four-game score of 958. She helped lead the Cougars to a fourth-place showing at the 16-team event.
 
Kohler took runner-up in a field north of 200 competitors at the same event with a score of 905 over four games. The sophomore's effort helped SAU grab a second-place finish out of 18-teams.
 
Spring Arbor travels to Las Vegas for the Glenn Carlson Invitational on Dec. 18-19 and the Collegiate Shootout on Dec. 20-21.
