SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University's
Reagan Kohler has been named the Crossroads League Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
The honor is the first of the season for Kohler and the sixth of her career.
Kohler logged back-to-back shutouts in goal for No. 14 Spring Arbor, helping the Cougars to wins over Huntington University and No. 19 Taylor University. The senior keeper highlighted her week with a five-save effort in a 1-0 win over the Trojans on homecoming.
On the season, Kohler has recorded six shutouts and owns a 0.92 goals against average.
Spring Arbor (7-1-4, 3-0-1 CL) welcomes Mount Vernon Nazarene University (7-3-2, 2-2-0 CL) to the Cougar Soccer Complex on Saturday, Oct. 11. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
