COLUMBUS, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University women's golf team placed seventh at the Crossroads League Championship played at Otter Creek Golf Course in Columbus, Indiana.
Spring Arbor finished with a three-round score of 1082. The Cougars turned in rounds of 352 and 376 on Monday and followed with a 354 on Tuesday afternoon.
Valentina Torrealba was Spring Arbor's top individual finishing top-20 overall. Torrealba posted a 54-hole score of 248 to land in 18th place.
Elle Bolkema followed with a 265 to place 26th.
Taylor University edged out Indiana Wesleyan University by one stroke to claim the team title. The Trojans recorded a total score of 945 while the Wildcats ended with a 946.
The tournament medalist honor also came down to a single stroke. Indiana Wesleyan's Caroline Gibson claimed first place with a 229 while three players notched matching scores of 230.
