SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University came in at No. 24 in the second regular season edition of the NAIA Men's Soccer Coaches' Top 25 Poll, released by the national office on Wednesday.
Spring Arbor started the year with four consecutive wins before dropping a pair in Florida to a pair of nationally recognized opponents. The Cougars bounced back, though, with a dominant 4-0 victory over Michigan-Dearborn.
David Magalhaes leads the way for SAU with three goals and three assists.
Alex Murphy and
Ian Lama have also recorded three goals each.
Spring Arbor is one of five Crossroads League teams in the rankings, joined by No. 7 Bethel University, No. 11 Indiana Wesleyan University, No. 15 Marian University and No. 22 Grace College.
Up next, the Cougars (5-3-0) host No. 3 ranked Lindsey Wilson College (6-0-1) on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 4 p.m.
