MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. – The No. 11 ranked Spring Arbor University men's soccer team faced a pair of nationally recognized opponents in Florida last week, falling 6-0 to No. 17 Keiser University on Thursday and 7-1 to St. Thomas University, which is receiving votes in the NAIA Top 25 Poll, on Saturday.
Despite the results, the trip gave Spring Arbor valuable experience against some of the nation's top programs as the Cougars prepare to enter the heart of their schedule.

MATCH SUMMARY
- Spring Arbor only trailed 1-0 at halftime, but an early red card in the second half put the Cougars at a disadvantage and the Seahawks took advantage scoring five times over the final 45 minutes.
- SAU goalkeeper Jack Cristini made 10 saves in the match while David Magalhaes recorded three of the Cougars' five shots.

- Two days later, SAU lined up against another tough opponent in St. Thomas.
- The Cougars struck first on a goal by Manny Aigbedo in the 13th minute. However, the Bobcats answered three minutes later to even the score, and added another tally before halftime to take a 2-1 advantage into the intermission.
- St. Thomas was able to pull away in the second half with five goals over the final 45 minutes.
