SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Spring Arbor University is ranked No. 7 in the first regular season edition of the NAIA Men's Cross Country Coaches' Top 25 Rating, released by the national office on Thursday.
The Cougars slipped just one spot from their No. 6 position in the preseason rankings.
Spring Arbor is one of six Crossroads League teams in the national ratings. Joining SAU is No. 2 Indiana Wesleyan University, No. 5 Taylor University, No. 6 Marian University and No. 21 Goshen College while Mount Vernon Nazarene University is receiving votes.
In the team's first two outings of the season, the Cougars finished third at the Hillsdale Invitational and second at Wayne State University's Warrior Challenge.
Spring Arbor will compete in the Siena Heights University Invitational on Friday, Sept. 26.
