NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The No. 8 ranked Spring Arbor University men's cross country team competed in a deep and talented field at the Joe Piane Notre Dame Invite on Friday.
The races were divided into three sections – Blue, Gold and Open. Spring Arbor participated in the Gold race and finished 17th out of the 21 teams, which was comprised mostly of NCAA Division I squads.
Amongst the highly competitive field of nearly 200 runners,
Camden Khon led the Cougar pack with a team-best 34th place finish. Khon was the second-fastest NAIA racer to complete the course, finishing in a season-best time of 25:06.
Dean Reynolds and
Jacob Singleton were not far behind finishing in 25:41 and 25:52 – both season-best times.
