GRANGER, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University men's golf team captured its second straight victory to open the spring season, winning the Holy Cross College Spring Invitational at Knollwood Golf Club.
The Cougars finished first out of six teams, posting rounds of 302 and 301 for a two-day total of 603, finishing 18 strokes ahead of the next closest team.
Spring Arbor also dominated the individual leaderboard, with
Keldon Koshorek and
Zach Koch tying for the top spot at 148. Koshorek secured medalist honors with a playoff victory, marking the first tournament win of his collegiate career.
Koshorek recorded rounds of 73 and 75, while Koch turned in scores of 76 and an even-par 72.
Luke Fisher added a top-five finish, placing fifth with a score of 154, and
Andrew Veldman finished eighth with a 156.
