Abe Bonn

Former SAU men’s soccer player Abe Bonn has joined the Spring Arbor University men’s soccer staff as an assistant coach.

Bonn joins the cougars after a two year stint as an assistant varsity coach with the boys soccer program at nearby Western High School. 

Bonn played three seasons at Spring Arbor University as a goalkeeper. Throughout his collegiate career he recorded six starts, securing four clean sheets. Throughout his years as a player and coach he has done personal training for several aspiring goalkeepers at multiple levels. During his time at Western High School, the program reached the regional finals and has produced several all-state players. 

Abe is a Saginaw, Michigan native. He also teaches 8th grade math at Springport Middle School, and currently resides in Spring Arbor with his wife Kamijha.
