The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team couldn't hang with the NCAA division 2 Hillsdale College for forty minutes as the Cougars fell to the Chargers 51-99 on the road last night.

Jenna Sharp led the Lady Cougs with 12 points on 6 for 13 shooting, while Megan Razavi and Kristen Miller had nine each in the loss.

The Cougars lost the battle of the boards, as they were out rebounded by the hosts 38-25 in the contest.

SAU shot a strong 52% from the field in the first half, but faded down the stretch and managed only 27% in the second on 6 for 22.

The Lady Cougars are back in action Friday when they play host to the visiting Saints of Aquinas College.
