The Spring Arbor University men's basketball team stumbled in their final regular season game against Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday, falling 41-86.
Spring Arbor had troubles before even departing campus, as problems with their charter bus caused the Cougars to roll into Luckey Arena just half an hour before tip off.
The headaches continued for Ryan Cottingham's Cougars, as the road-weary Cougars who have played 5 of their last seven games away from home, shot very poorly in the first half and went down by a 46-19 scoreline entering the second half.
Shooting woes contined for the Cougars in the second half, while the Wildcats continued to scorch the nets, cruising to the lopsided victory.
Spring Arbor finishes the MCC race in fourth place and will host the University of St. Francis at Spring Arbor field house in the first round of the MCC playoffs on Wednesday, February 23rd. The game is scheduled for a 7:00 p.m. tip off.
