The Lakers proved to be too much as they downed the Cougars
80-53.
Despite a strong performance from freshmen Rob Hogans (13
points) the Cougars could not overcome the rebounding deficit (27-18). Senior
Willie Pickvet and sophomore Chris Bellamy each added 10 points and junior
Derek Belote was five for five at the line and earned nine points in the match.
The Cougars are back in action on Saturday as they travel to
the Upper Peninsula to face Northern Michigan University in Marquette, MI.
Tip-off is scheduled for 1:00pm.
