Taylor Recap

The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team lost their third straight game in a 43-65 shortcoming to the Taylor University Trojans on Saturday.

Freshman Alex Glenn led the Cougars with seven points while Melissa Tejkl, Sarah Wellman and Megan Bement chipped in with six points each in the loss. Tejkl also grabbed a team high seven boards in the contest.

Spring Arbor shot a chilly 29% from the field for the contest while Taylor connected on 39% (25-64) of their attempts. Spring Arbor also came out on the short end of a 43-34 margin on the boards and turned the ball over 17 times compared to the 13 times Taylor was guilty of the offense.

Spring Arbor will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Mishawaka, Indiana to take on the Bethel College Pilots. The game will tip off at 7:00 p.m.
