BETHEL, IN, -- After defeating Taylor University 60-45 at
home on Tuesday night, Head Coach, Tara Kreklau had high hopes of getting
another upset win, this time, on the road against Bethel College on Thursday
night. Those hopes were dashed as a very
cold offensive performance proved to be too much to overcome against a hot
shooting Pilot squad.
Spring Arbor (8-10, 2-3) shot a disappointing 12 of 50 (.240)
from the floor including 2 of 20 from beyond the arc as Bethel (11-7, 3-2) hit
33 of 67 (.493) from the floor to rout the Cougars,
Melissa Tejkl led the Cougars with 12 points, and Alex Glenn
grabbed 8 rebounds in the loss.
The Lady Cougars will have no time to lick their wounds as
they host MCC Leader Indiana Wesleyan on Saturday at 1:00.
