ADRIAN, MI - For the third game in a row, the Spring Arbor University Woman's Basketball Team would go toe to toe with an opponent only to fall just short coming down the stretch. The latest episode would be on the road against Siena Heights University where the Cougars left a 36-29 halftime lead on the table to fall 66-61. The loss would drop Spring Arbor to 2-4, Siena Heights stayed perfect at 3-0.
Audra Norris would lead all scorers in the game with 17 points and taking in eight rebounds. Angela Russell would score 12 points coupled with five rebounds.
"I thought we did a better job of coming out and being ready to play," said Coach Ryan Frost. "We just have to find a sense of urgency and to learn how to finish games."
The Lady Cougars will take this weekend off as they will prepare to start MCC play on Tuesday on the road in Mishawaka, IN against Bethel College. Tip off time is slated for 7:00 pm
