Lady Cougars Streak Continues

MARIAN, IN - Coach Tara Kreklau and the Lady Cougars knew that facing the 6th ranked Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats on their home court would be an uphill battle. It was! Spring Arbor's losing streak climbed to 11 games as the Cougars fell to the Wildcats 69-38.

Getting the ball into basket has plagued the Cougars in the last two weeks and continued at IWU. Spring Arbor shot 31.8% from the field including only 18% from beyond the 3-pt arc (2-11). The loss also marked the 6th straight contest where the Cougars failed to score 60 points.

Spring Arbor was led once again by Senior Melissa Tejkl scoring 13 points and grabbing 4 rebounds.

The Cougars will finish their schedule at home with two more games remaining. Grace College and Huntington University visit Spring Arbor with the Grace game on Saturday the 12th at 1:00 pm and Huntington on Wednesday the 16th at 7:00 pm.
