ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich – The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team fell to the Rochester College Warriors last night 58-38. The game was a reversal of the two teams earlier game this year when the Cougars upended Rochester 68-63 in overtime.
Carlie Newman and Ana Byrens led Spring Arbor with 11 and 10 points respectively. Newman also pulled down nine rebounds in the contest.
Spring Arbor was 1-16 from three point range.
The loss drops the Cougars to 2-7 on the year.
Spring Arbor will head to Palos Alto, IL for a Saturday afternoon matchup with Trinity Christian College. Tip-off is set for 3:00 pm.
