Holland, MI -- Junior Rob Hogans pumped in a game-high 25 points including two monster dunks to lead the SAU men's basketball team to a 68-62 victor over the Grace Bible College Tigers in the opening game of the 13th Annual Holland Sentinel & 24th Annual Russ Devette Community Tournament at Hope College. Senior Chris Bellamy scored 17 points and senior Matt Howe added 10 points and 11 rebounds.
"We played a very solid all-around game, said Head Coach Ryan Cottingham. "I liked our defensive intensity and thought we did some good things on the offensive end when we were patient. I was impressed with Grace Bible. They play really hard and are well coached."
Spring Arbor will play Hope College Saturday at 3:00pm for the tournament title. Hope defeated Covenant (GA) in the second game.
