MARION, IN – The Indiana Wesleyan University Wildcats didn't play very nice hosts to the Spring Arbor University women's tennis team sending the Cougars home with a 8-1 loss on Thursday afternoon.
The Cougars lone win was Jenna Bart, who came back from losing the first set 1-6. Bart rallied to win the second set 7-6 and won the third set super tie-breaker 11-9 for the Cougars point.
"It was a small moral victory to get that one point," said Coach, Bobby Pratt. "IWU has a great team and played that way. Congratulations to them for the win."
Spring Arbor levels their record at 1-1 for the season while IWU improves to 3-0. The Cougars return home for a Saturday morning match with Taylor University at 11:00.
