SPRING ARBOR, MI – The Lady Cougars faced a tough Taylor University tennis team on Saturday and managed one point against the Trojans in a 8-1 loss.  The Lone win for the Cougars came at #5 singles, Mary-Kate McShane with a 6-4, 6-2 win over Kelsey Crow.

Despite the lop-sided score, the match was, in fact, much closer.  The top three singles matches all went three sets with each falling Taylor's way.  The #1 and #3 doubles matches each were close with Taylor winning both 8-6.

The Cougars fall to 1-2 with Taylor the reverse at 2-1 in the Crossroads League standings. 

The Ladies will host the Grace College Lancers on Tuesday, September 3 for a 4:00 match.
