GOSHEN, IN – The Lady Cougar tennis team traveled to Goshen, IN and handily defeated the Host Maple Leafs of Goshen College 8-1 on Tuesday afternoon in sweltering mid-90 degree temperatures.
Winning for the Cougars in singles was Quincy Banini, Jenna Bart, Katie Storrer, Mary-Kate McShane, and Erin Hossack, and the doubles teams of Hope Roelofs and Banini, Bart and Storrer, and McShane and Paige Fallu.
The Cougars evened their record at 3-3 in the Crossroads League and are now in fifth place in the standings. Goshen falls to 0-6.
The Cougars will travel to Huntington University next Tuesday for a pivotal match with the Foresters who are currently at 3-2. The match will start at 4:00 p.m.
