MARION, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University women's tennis team's fall season came to a close after falling to Indiana Wesleyan University 5-0 in the semifinals of the Crossroads League Tournament on Thursday.
Indiana Wesleyan (13-1, 7-1 Crossroads League) started the afternoon by capturing wins at No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. The tandem of Quincy Banini and Erin Hossack battled at No. 1, looking to claim a point for the Cougars, but ultimately fell 8-5.
Moving to singles play, the Wildcats quickly clinched the match with a pair of wins on the No. 4 and No. 5 courts.
Spring Arbor (8-3, 6-2 Crossroads League) concluded one of the most successful fall seasons in program history, posting an 8-3 record and a third place finish in the conference standings.
