SPRING ARBOR, MI – Spring Arbor women's tennis took it chances against the NAIA #17 Davenport Panthers on Thursday afternoon. The Panthers proved to be a little much for the lady Cougars as Davenport swept every match in a 9-0 shutout.
All the matches were straight set losses for Spring Arbor and the loss stopped a six match win streak by the Cougars, who had not lost a match since March 10.
The closest match for the cougars was an 8-5 loss at #2 Doubles by Jenna Bart and Katie Storrer, and a 6-0, 7-5 loss at #6 singles by Paige Fallu.
Spring Arbor falls to 13-8 on the season and will play its final match at home on April 22 against Cornerstone University at 4:00 p.m.
