HOW IT HAPPENED

- Just over 15 minutes into the second half, a red-hot Roderic Green, who tallied two goals earlier this week in the win over Indiana Wesleyan, ripped a 30-yard shot into the upper corner of goal to double the SAU lead.
- In the 70th minute, Cory Swartzendruber would also strike from deep for his first goal of the season.
- Spring Arbor finished the afternoon with 20 shots while not allowing MVNU a single one. The Cougars also held a 6-0 edge in corner kicks.
- The shutout was sixth of the year for SAU.

- "Two of the goals were total bangers - made for a fun night for the boys."
- "We begin a massive three-game run away from home. I know our group is ready for this challenge."
