WYOMING, Mich. – Senior Luke Barber scored a career-high 25 points and knocked down a career-best six three-pointers to lead the Spring Arbor University men's basketball team past Grace Christian University 79-72 on Monday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was a tale of two halves for Spring Arbor against Grace Christian.
- The Tigers took a 36-29 lead into halftime after holding SAU to just 38 percent shooting in the first half. The Cougars were just 12-for-31 from the field, including 3-for-13 from three-point range, in the first half while also being out-rebounded 21-12.
- Spring Arbor flipped the script in the second half, shooting at a sizzling 58 percent clip while draining seven three's. Barber led the charge with 20 second half points going 5-for-6 from behind the arc.
- Grace Christian trailed by just two, 74-72, with less than two minutes remaining before Barber buried his sixth triple of the night to put the game away. He would clinch the game with a pair of free throws in the closing seconds.
FOR THE COUGARS
- Barber finished with 25 points, hitting six three-pointers, and a perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line.
- Paul Marandet added 14 points and nine assists while Brandon Durnell added 11 points. Nick Welch nearly recorded a double-double with eight points and nine boards.
- Spring Arbor connected on 47 percent (27-for-57) of its field goal attempts and was 15-for-15 at the charity stripe.
FOR THE TIGERS
- Austin Jackson poured in 28 points to lead Grace Christian.
- The Tigers shot 46 percent (29-for-63) on the night.

Spring Arbor will travel to Concordia University (1-4) on Friday, Nov. 16. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
