Box Score SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's soccer team got a hat trick from senior forward Morris Kamara in the first 15 minutes to lead the Cougars past visiting Rochester College on Saturday evening in their 2018 season opener.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- It did not take long for the reigning Crossroads League Player of the Year to find his rhythm as Kamara found the back of the net less than five minutes after the opening kickoff. Kamara put the game out of reach quickly tallying two more goals before the 15 minute mark.
- Cole Russell made it a 4-0 Cougar lead heading into halftime with his marker in the 20th minute.
- Spring Arbor added two more goals in the second half. Jacob Crull put away a penalty kick in the 68th minute and freshman Mario Colella registered his first career goal to cap the scoring in the 78th minute.
- Christopher Banfi made three saves to record his first clean sheet.
- Spring Arbor outshot Rochester 27-4.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE
- For the second consecutive season, Kamara recorded a hat trick in the team's opener. The senior forward also tallied three goals against Trinity International University a year ago.
- With the win, SAU is 6-0-0 in season openers under head coach Nathan Miller.
