- Spring Arbor fell behind in the 23rd minute after Warner Pacific put away a loose ball in front of the SAU goal.
- Moments later, senior Janum Sailor leveled the score with his first goal of the season.
- A goal from Morris Kamara in the 37th minute gave the Cougars a 2-1 edge heading into halftime.
- Baba Valdmanis added an insurance goal in the 69th minute, finishing off a free kick from Jacob Crull.
- Michael White made his debut in goal for the Cougars making three saves.
- Spring Arbor outshot Warner Pacific 18-13.
