SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Four members of the Spring Arbor University men's soccer team have earned spots on the All-Crossroads League Teams, as announced by the conference office.
David Magalhaes and
Caleb Swartzendruber were both named to the All-Crossroads League First Team while
Aiden Avalos and
Jack Cristini received Honorable Mention recognition for their standout seasons.
Magalhaes, an Honorable Mention selection a year ago, took a major step forward in his senior campaign, leading the Cougars with a career-high eight goals while adding four assists. Swartzendruber also had a breakout season, finishing with six goals and three assists. Together, the duo powered one of the most productive offenses in the Crossroads League.
Avalos, a senior midfielder, was honored for his leadership and consistency in the center of the field, contributing an assist while serving as a steady presence on both sides of the ball. In goal, Cristini delivered an exceptional season, posting a career-high 82 saves and eight shutouts, numbers that ranked among the best in the league.
The Cougars finished the 2025 season with a strong postseason push, advancing to the Crossroads League Tournament Semifinals and closing the year with an 11-8-1 overall record.
