Box Score BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – The Spring Arbor University men's soccer team fell to Olivet Nazarene University 2-0 on Wednesday night at the Snowbarger Athletic Complex.
The loss drops the Cougars to 2-2-0 on the young season while the Tigers earned their first victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Olivet Nazarene broke the scoreless deadlock with a goal by Tumi Moshobane in the 32nd minute.
- Spring Arbor appeared to have found the equalizer just before halftime, but after the goal was disallowed, the Tigers took their 1-0 lead into the locker room.
- The home team doubled its lead moments into the second half. Joe Hoffman was on the receiving end of a pass from Moshobane and beat SAU goalkeeper Christopher Banfi to give ONU a 2-0 lead in the 52nd minute.
- The Cougars created a couple chances late in the game with a header from Morris Kamara and a shot from Cole Russell both going wide.
- Spring Arbor finished the match with 14 shots while Olivet Nazarene racked up 11. The Cougars earned 12 corner kicks compared to the Tigers' one.
BEYOND THE BOX SCORE
- Tonight's loss was Spring Arbor's first to Olivet Nazarene in the previous seven meetings. The Cougars are now 4-1-2 against ONU since 2006.
- After playing three consecutive matches on the road, Spring Arbor returns home to begin a four-match homestand.
