Box Score LIVONIA, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's soccer team saw its four-match winning streak come to an end Wednesday afternoon with a 2-1 overtime loss at Madonna University.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Madonna converted a penalty kick in the 35th minute to take a 1-0 lead. It was the first time Spring Arbor has trailed in a game since Aug. 29 against Olivet Nazarene University.
- The Crusaders made the lead stand until the final minute of regulation when Jacob Crull scored the equalizer with an assist from Tyler Green.
- It did not take long to find a winner in overtime as the home team struck less than three minutes into the extra period.
- Madonna outshot Spring Arbor 13-7 and held an 8-3 advantage in corner kicks.
- Zach Weidman, the reigning NAIA National Defensive Player of the Week, made three saves in the game.
