Jacob Crull signs pro contract with Union Omaha of USL League One

OMAHA, Neb. – Following his outstanding four-year career with Spring Arbor University men's soccer, Jacob Crull has signed to play professionally with Union Omaha, a member of the USL League One.

Crull was recognized as the Crossroads League Player of the Year for a second straight year in 2019. He tallied a career-high 12 goals during his senior season while adding 14 assists. The Carmel, Indiana native, who was also a two-time NAIA All-American, ranked second in the conference in total points with 38, trailing only teammate Cole Russell's 41. Crull also ranked first in assists and fifth in goals.

Over his four years, Crull scored 23 goals and was credited with 50 assists for 96 career points. He helped guide the Cougars to an overall record of 64-16-8, including a mark of 30-2-4 in conference play, with three Crossroads League regular season championships, one Crossroads League Tournament title and three NAIA national tournament appearances.

Union Omaha is a professional soccer team based in Omaha, Nebraska about to begin its inaugural season, and will be the 11th club to play in USL League One. USL League One serves as the third-highest tier in the United States' pro soccer landscape. Major League Soccer (MLS) is the highest tier, followed by the USL.

Union Omaha's inaugural season is set to begin on Saturday, Apr. 25 against Orlando City B at Werner Park in Sarpy County, Nebraska.
