GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team bounced back from its season-opening loss with a 69-61 road win at Grace Christian University on Wednesday night.
Three Cougars scored in double figures, including
Anne Marie Wright, who posted a team-high 16 points.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Grace Christian jumped out to an early 17-8 lead, but a 10-2 run got the Cougars within one, 19-18, after the first quarter.
- The home team held a slim lead throughout the period until a late bucket by Wright put SAU on top 28-27 heading into halftime.
- Spring Arbor hit four quick 3-pointers to start the second half as part of a 14-2 run to balloon its lead to 13, 42-29.
- Grace Christian chipped away at the deficit in the fourth quarter, and got within five with less than a minute to play, but Cierra Lipps sealed the game for SAU at the free throw line.
- Wright led the way for Spring Arbor with 16 points. Abi Borojevich followed with 14 while hitting four 3-pointers and Daelynn Jackson chipped in 11.
