HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University men's basketball team suffered a 94-63 loss to Huntington University on Thursday.
The setback dropped the Cougars to 2-4 overall and 0-2 in Crossroads League play while the Foresters remained unbeaten, improving to 6-0 with a 1-0 mark in the conference.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- Spring Arbor held an 11-10 lead five minutes into the contest, but Huntington would pull ahead following a 12-0 run.
- After trailing by as many as 12, the Cougars closed the gap to six, 35-29, at the 6:26 mark of the first half following a 3-pointer by Nate Flannery and a bucket from Daniel Cluster. However, the Foresters responded with another run before halftime to take a control of the game.
- Brandon Durnell finished with 23 points and nine rebounds. Cluster and Flannery also scored in double figures with 15 and 12 points, respectively. Joshua Laman chipped in seven points off the bench.
- Five Huntington players reached double digits. The Foresters were led by 24 points from Ben Humrichous and 22 points from Zach Goodline.
- Spring Arbor shot 45 percent (24-for-53) on the evening while Huntington hit 60 percent (32-for-53) of its shots, including 17 3-pointers.
