Beckman eclipses 1,000 career points, Cougars pick up key win at Goshen

GOSHEN, Ind. – Jeff Beckman became the 48th player in Spring Arbor University men's basketball history to cross the 1,000 point plateau on Tuesday night as the Cougars secured a key Crossroads League victory, defeating Goshen College 87-65.

With the win, Spring Arbor kept pace in a tight battle for a spot in the top-four of the Crossroads League standings. While Indiana Wesleyan University clinched the regular season title tonight, only three games separate the third place team from the eighth place team.
