Box Score MARION, Ind. – The No. 4 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team went on the road Saturday and came away with a crucial victory, defeating another Top 10 opponent, No. 8 Indiana Wesleyan University, 1-0 to grab sole possession of first place in the Crossroads League.
Spring Arbor and Indiana Wesleyan entered the night tied at the top of the standings, but a goal by
Ariana Stoltzfus in the 71st minute was enough to power the Cougars past the Wildcats for their 11th straight win.

- Stoltzfus scored what proved to be the game-winning goal in the 71st minute directly off a corner kick. It was the second goal in as many games for Stoltzfus, and her fifth of the season – matching her career-high.
- Spring Arbor handed Indiana Wesleyan its first conference loss and snapped the Wildcats' eight-game winning streak. It was also the first time this season that IWU was held scoreless.
- Goalkeeper Emily Ponstein finished the match with five saves giving SAU its 11th clean sheet of the campaign, which is tied for the most in the country.
- The win was Spring Arbor's fifth over a nationally ranked opponent this season.
