Women's Basketball falls in last minute during home opener
SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University Women's basketball team came out firing in the first half shooting 50 percent from the field (13-for-26) and 50 percent from three (6-for-12). However, Holy Cross was able to turn it on in the fourth quarter behind Jayda Miller who had 13 second-half points and a desperation three-pointer as the shot clock was expiring. Sara White, who finished with 14 points, sealed the deal with a made free throw with 3 seconds left for the Cougars to lose 65-61 against Holy Cross in their home opener.

- Alex Long was hot from behind the arch (4-for-8) and finishing with a season high 17 points, 8 Rebounds.
- Grace Shoobridge finished her night fouling out, but had 12 points and 7 Rebounds.
- Although SAU outscored Holy Cross in the paint 22-20, Holy Cross had them beat on second chance points, 18-3.
