Teona Feldpausch matched her career-high with 22 points and
Grace Shoobridge registered a double-double, but it was not enough as the Spring Arbor University women's basketball team fell to Grace College 80-72 on Wednesday.
The Cougars, who are not eligible for Crossroads League postseason play after missing much of the campaign due to COVID-19, conclude their season at 5-8.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The first three quarters were tightly contested seeing 10 lead changes and 11 ties with neither team ever leading by more than five points.
- Spring Arbor trailed by just five, 62-57, with seven minutes to play in the fourth quarter. However, Grace widened the margin to 12 with a quick 9-2 scoring spurt.
- The Cougars fought their way back with a 3-pointer from Anne Marie Wright and back-to-back buckets from Shoobridge, closing the gap to five, 71-66, with under two minutes remaining. But that was as close as SAU would get. The Lancers would go 7-for-8 at the free throw line down the stretch to clinch the win.
- Feldpausch was 11-for-17 from the field on her way to 22 points while also adding seven rebounds and five assists. Shoobridge's double-double was her third of the year, finishing with 19 points and 11 rebounds.
- Wright and Gracie Cabana also reached double figures in scoring. Wright tallied 14 points while hitting four 3-pointers and Cabana finished with 13 points and five assists.
- Grace was led by Kyannah Stull and Kamryn Hostetler, who posted 23 and 18 points, respectively.
