SPRING ARBOR, Mich. –
Brandon Durnell scored a career-high 35 points but the Spring Arbor University men's basketball team was defeated by No. 13 Marian University 79-56 Saturday inside the McDonald Athletic Center.
The Cougars, who are not eligible for Crossroads League postseason play after missing much of the campaign due to COVID-19, completed their schedule with a 9-8 record. Marian picked up its 10th straight win to move to 19-4 overall. The Knights finished the regular season second in the Crossroads League standings.
