SPRING ARBOR, Mich. -- The Spring Arbor University men's basketball team earned an 84-60 win over visiting Grace Christian University on Friday night. With the win, the Cougars have moved to 9-6 on the season and extended their winning streak to three games.
This was the Cougars' second win against the Tigers this season, as they collected their first win of the 2020-2021 season against Grace Christian back on Nov. 4.
Brandon Durnell led the way for SAU, finishing two rebounds shy of a double-double with 21 points and eight rebounds.

GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- The teams went back and forth at the start of the first half until the Cougars were propelled offensively by Denver Cade and Brandon Durnell.
- Cade collected 11 first half points, which included knocking down three straight 3-pointers.
- 12 minutes in, the Cougars went on a run to make it a 21-15 game. Durnell stepped up and led the Cougars in the first half with 16 points.
- The Cougars entered the locker room with a 41-27 lead after the first 20 minutes of play.
- Spring Arbor did not look back as they continued to dominate in the second half.
- Tyler Kaminski was very efficient from the field, shooting 6-for-7. Kaminski would finish with 13 points while Cade also finished with 13 points and collected eight rebounds.
- Daniel Cluster had nine points and nine boards, and Nate Flannery posted nine points and eight assists.
- Grace Christian's Kellum Bridgeforth led all scorers with 23 points.
