Box Score FOLEY, Ala. – The Spring Arbor University women's soccer season came to an end Saturday night following a penalty kick shootout loss to Keiser University in the semifinal round of the NAIA Women's Soccer National Championship.
Spring Arbor battled back from a 1-0 deficit and tied the score on a
Mackenzie Selvius penalty kick in the 57th minute. But, after two scoreless overtime periods, the match went to a shootout where the Cougars fell 4-3.
Head coach
Jason Crist and the Cougars finished one of the most challenging seasons ever seen with an incredible 15-2-2 record and made their fifth appearance in the national tournament semifinals in the last six seasons.
