Men’s Soccer concludes non-conference slate with win

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's soccer team delivered its third shutout on the season as it registered a 2-0 victory over Adrian College on Saturday night at the Cougar Soccer Complex.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
  • Spring Arbor got on the scoreboard early as Trevor Kacou found Jack Voight less than three minutes in for the game's first goal.
  • The Cougars added to their lead shortly after halftime. In the 50th minute, SAU earned a penalty kick after Voight was brought down inside the box, and Lirim Shefkiu calmly buried the PK for his third goal of the season.
  • Spring Arbor finished the evening with a 20-3 shot advantage and earned 10 corner kicks compared to Adrian's four.
