HUNTINGTON, Ind. – The Spring Arbor University split a Tuesday doubleheader at Huntington University with the Cougars winning game one, 16-14, and the Foresters taking game two, 15-2.
 
Spring Arbor and Huntington split the four-game series with each team winning two games.

GAME 1 HIGHLIGHTS

• Spring Arbor outslugged Huntington in game one scoring 16 runs on 21 hits.
• Evan Lorey led the way with five hits, including two doubles, while scoring four times and driving in four runs.
• Landon Raczkowski, Peyton Harding, Brandon Haynes and Brant Mast finished with three hits apiece.
• Brant Mullins picked up the win on the mound and Hunter Nielsen earned the save.

 
 
GAME 2 HIGHLIGHTS

• Spring Arbor held an early 2-1 lead in game two, but Huntington plated four runs in the bottom of the second inning to take the lead.
• The Foresters added seven more runs in the third inning on their way to the win.
• The Cougars were limited to two hits in the contest. Haynes finished 1-for-2 at the plate with a run scored while Jake Spedoske collected one RBI.
