LIVONIA, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University was unable to overcome a two-goal deficit, dropping a 2-1 decision to Madonna University on Wednesday night.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Madonna grabbed an early lead on a goal by Jordy Lopez in the 14th minute.
- The Crusaders took a 1-0 lead into halftime, but quickly doubled their advantage in the opening moments of the second half when Lopez found the back of the net for a second time.
- Spring Arbor cut the deficit in half when Jack Voight scored in the 60th minute, but Madonna was able to hold on and remain unbeaten on the season.
- Madonna finished with nine shots while SAU collected eight.
