Men’s Soccer scores three goals in the second half to defeat Taylor

UPLAND, Ind. – Three separate Cougars scored in the second half to help Spring Arbor University defeat Taylor University 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
  • After a scoreless first half, Spring Arbor was able to get on the scoreboard early in the second. Drew Lietz scored in the 49th minute with an assist from Aiden Messinger.
  • The Cougars were able to put the game away midway into the second stanza with two goals in just over a minute. Jack Voight found the back of the net in the 70th minute, and Rood Schnaider followed with a tally in the 71st.
  • Spring Arbor racked up 25 shots while Taylor finished with 15.
  • SAU goalkeeper Matt LeBlanc made five saves in the shutout.
