SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University men's soccer team ended its contest with visiting Cornerstone University in a 1-1 draw on Wednesday night.
Austin Boafo netted SAU's only tally of the night. It was his first goal as a Cougar.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Cornerstone got on the board in the 22nd minute. After drawing a foul in the box, CU's Tyler Corstange converted the penalty kick to give the Golden Eagles the early lead.
- Boafo scored the equalizer in the 70th minute. Reigning Crossroads League Player of the Week Abdulrahman Al-Rashed sent a free kick into the box where Francis Kwashie flicked it on to Boafo, and he finished with a diving header to tie the score at 1-1.
- Spring Arbor held a slight advantage in total shots, collecting nine while Cornerstone recorded eight. The Cougars also earned 11 corner kicks while the visitors finished with zero.
- SAU goalkeeper Matt LeBlanc made three saves on the night.
