MOUNT VERNON, Ohio – The No. 2 ranked Spring Arbor University women's soccer team remained perfect on the season with a 4-1 win over Mount Vernon Nazarene University on Wednesday night.
The Cougars moved to 9-0-0 overall and 2-0-0 in the Crossroads League while MVNU dropped to 4-4-2 and 1-1-0 in league play.

MATCH HIGHLIGHTS
- Goals from Kaylee Beekel and Jocelyn Hendricks, along with an MVNU own goal, propelled Spring Arbor to a 3-0 lead at halftime. The goal was Beekel's sixth of the season while Hendricks' fourth.
- MVNU avoided the shutout with a late tally in the 86th minute.
- Ariana Stoltzfus scored her fifth goal of the campaign in the 88th minute.
- Spring Arbor had a 26-5 shot advantage over MVNU while also earned 10 corner kicks compared to the home team's two.
