SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – The Spring Arbor University women's basketball team scored 35 points in the fourth quarter to come from behind and defeat Goshen College 81-74 on Wednesday night at the McDonald Athletic Center.
Goshen had a 53-46 advantage after three quarters of play, and led 61-60 at the 6:34 mark of the fourth period. However, the Cougars outscored the Maple Leafs 21-13 over the final six minutes to secure their second straight win.
Alana Nelson finished with 25 points and eight rebounds to lead the way for SAU.
Alize Tripp followed with 14 points and
Emma Smieska chipped in 13 points, five boards and three assists.
